This presentation is intended to raise the awareness of drivers and passengers under the age of 25 including the risks and consequences of aggressive and unsafe driving.

PRESENTATION OBJECTIVES

After the presentation and discussion participants will be able to:

- Better identify risks and consequences of driver distraction, speeding, drowsy driving, impairment by alcohol and drugs, and failing to buckle up;

- Recognize factors that contribute to these unsafe driving behaviors; and

- Develop strategies for making better driving-related decisions.

The DVD is 20 minutes long and includes segments on driver distraction, crash trauma, excessive speeding, drowsy driving, impairment by alcohol and/or drugs, and seatbelt use.

This program is intended to make you think about these issues, but doesn't provide all the answers because other people's solutions may not work for you. After the video there will be a discussion about the issues and strategies for dealing with them.
