In order to become a member of OttawaParamedics.ca, you must first become a paid member of the Professional Paramedic Association of Ottawa at one of the following membership levels. 

PARAMEDIC & ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP FORMS:

• Membership Form (Paramedic and Associate members only)
• HELP Fund (Paramedic and Associate members only)
• Note: Paramedic & Associate payment is made by Pre-Authorized Debit
• Note: Paramedic & Associate members can choose to pay monthly or annually  

STUDENT & CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP FORMS: 

• Membership Form (Student and Corporate members only)
• Secure Online Credit Card Payment (Student and Corporate members only)
• Note: Student & Corporate payment is made by Credit Card or Cheque

Membership forms can either be mailed to the PPAO or submitted to the PPAO box at paramedic headquarters.  Thank-you.

The Professional Paramedic Association of Ottawa is responsible for promoting the practice of Paramedicine and ensuring the highest level of care for our patients.  We are leaders in the advancement of Paramedicine and achieve our objectives through public awareness, research and education.  We lobby for self-regulation under the Regulated Health Professions Act.  We also assist in fundraising for community-based charities.  The Professional Paramedic Association of Ottawa is a proud chapter of the Ontario Paramedic Association and the Paramedic Association of Canada. The Professional Paramedic Association of Ottawa (PPAO) is not a labour union.
