Ottawa Paramedics Supporting Communities

Paramedics will always respond to 9-1-1 calls, but we also need more paramedics to fill important roles that safely support treat & release, treat & discharge and other contexts of health care, in order to take pressure off hospital emergency departments. Some of these other roles include:

2. Mental Wellness Response Teams
3. Street Outreach
4. Palliative Care
5. Event Paramedics
6. Community Paramedics

We are part of a national association of over 28000 paramedics from across Canada.
