Ottawa Paramedics Supporting Communities

Paramedics will always respond to 9-1-1 calls, but we also need more paramedics to fill important roles that safely support treat & release, treat & discharge and other contexts of health care, in order to take pressure off hospital emergency departments. Some of these other roles include:

5. Event Paramedics
6. Community Paramedics

We are part of a national association of over 28000 paramedics from across Canada. These paramedics volunteer to pay an annual membership fee that is utilized to fund projects for patient care advocacy and professional development.
